While we are all staying safe in isolation I am sure a lot of people are wondering what can I do? or I am board? Well here are some ideas I have put together or found to keep you ticking over.
1} Bake
A lot have caught the baking bug during this period and I will admit I am one of them me and my partner are loving it! On a Sunday afternoon we dedicate to baking. We have made a few things some better then others but my favourite is the sausage rolls.
2}Home Cooking
Google or look through some recipe books and write down the all the recipes you want to give a go, we tried one the other night and it was divine we have pork chops in orange.
3}Watching a new series
We watched the whole of The Stranger on Saturday to which I highly recommend but my all time favourite and I am on my second round of watching is Heartland.
4}Disney +
If you haven't heard of Disney + then well where have you been, if you are an avid Disney lover then this is for you! You can binge watch and have a complete Disney movie marathon.
5}Podcasts
While completing your productive new jobs why not get involved in a new podcast, there are so many different types of podcasts to listen too.
6}Puzzles
Why not try a really large puzzle you can complete over a few days or weeks or print of a n online puzzles, you could also try a crossword.
7}Boardgames
If you and your family are all stuck together then why not have some family bonding time and play some games together.
8}Colouring
Not only do children love colouring but there are now adult colouring books to. It is known to be very relaxing these can be picked up online so very easy to get hold off
9}Arts and Crafts
Always wanted to try something and feeling artsy well now is the time most supplies you can buy online making it super easy to get started.
10}Gardening
Why not get green fingered and start making the garden look good again, there is no better feeling than being out in the warmth planting some flowers and having a tidy up.
11}Exercise
Youtube and the app store have loads off workouts to do that you can complete from your lounge or bedroom, make sure you still go out for a daily walk, jog or cycle to get some fresh air and change of scenery
12}Deep clean
Why not deep clean your whole house or bedroom, pull everything out and throughly clean and anti bac everything possible this could also lead onto cleaning;
*Your car
*clean make up brushes and bags
*clean hairbrushes, hair tools
13} Clear out your wardrobe
Why not sort out your wardrobe and sort your clothes into things to keep, charity, give to friends and throw away if 100% necessary. If you are unsure on some items place the hanger in so the loop is facing you and once you have worn something place the hanger in the other way around you can then see what you wear and what you don't.
14}Read
After all the cleaning why don't you grab a magazine or book and relax with a cup of tea.
15} Pamper
Have a good pamper session, do your nails, have a nice pamper shower and pop on a face mask and relax you could do this with your new book or watching your new series
16}Practise
Is there something you struggle with and need to practise now is the time, you have all the time in the world to perfect it.
17}Sleep
If you really fancy doing nothing and enjoying the time to chill go for it! have a lie in and take some naps
18}Stay social
Use online sites and why not have some fun using house party or zoom and have a quiz night, drinks night or all do an online bake off! Also keep in touch chat, text, call or facetime family members expecially those who are elderly and make sure they are okay
19}Have a sort out of your phone, delete then hundreds of screenshots you have or apps you don't use.
20}Mini - Golf
Make your own home mini golf set, save some recycling up and make a mini golf set
I hope this has given a few of you some ideas and things to do during this time, I hope you are all staying safe and if anyone is struggling please DM on instagram.
